Holmegaard Værk Identity
Case: Holmegaard Værk Brand strategy: 1508
Role: Art direction & Graphic design
In the negative space between the two A’s in the logo you can see one glass. A reference to glass art, form and design - but it is also a greeting to one of Holmegaard's greatest designers: Per Lütken. The glass is named ‘Ideelle’ (=ideal), which he designed in 1978. ‘Ideelle’ and those many thousands of other products that have been discontinued from Holmegaard Glassworks, can of course be found at Holmegaard Værk. Both in the exhibition and in the graphic identity where we - like designers and artists through 100 years - have let the ideas sprout in the encounter with the beautiful and inspiring of the past glasdesigns.
